A beautiful street lined with every designer shop you can imagine. Easy to walk, pick up a tour bus, and admire the amazing buildings. A more beautiful street is hard to imagine.

It is a very nice place to go shopping thru alot of brands. There are many shops, but there are also restaurants with good food, or where you can drink a coffee/juice. Walking along the street you can see interesting monuments built by Antoni Gaudi....More

Stop by this site around sunset for some amazing pictures. The area is less busy than during the day and the fountains and buildings are lit up and look amazing against the background of the setting sun.

I enjoyed visiting this street, the architecture and the window shopping. Gaudi designed some of the buildings which are beautiful to see. It is in the city centre and there is a metro stop.

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes
recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant
atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district,
Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best

I think Passeig de Gracia has a mix of international brand names and more local brand names. I actually like the latter much more. Like you, I prefer something authentic. I suggest you stay away from Las Ramblas/major... More
