Charming house with interesting items and information about Gaudi. Nice yard around the house with sculptures and items. The house is located inside Guel park, but if you want to visit it you have to buy online tickets , as it could be done at the house.

I was extremely underwhelmed with this experience- and for an EXTREMELY inflated price. I realized how much I disliked the style of architecture, and the flow of the tour was awkward. The recorded tour on the headsets was beyond ridiculous- rather than a historical perspective it was as if she was trying to tell a fairytale story to a child....perhaps to add colorful imagery through words to a very disappointing landscape?

This place is another of Gaudi's architectural works. If you like mosaics, you will love this place. The park consists of several different buildings, each with its own beauty. From here you can see the beautiful view of Barcelona. Hundreds of green parrots live among the trees of this park, which was interesting to me!

Is the House (Casa)in which Gaudi lived, working for the construction of Sagrada Familia, but then when he worked creating the Park Güell. Is a special place to visit and have to buy additional ticket. From the moment that you approach the Perimeter of the building and the entrance, you can notice the Elegance in taste and impeccable detail in everything that exists, as decoration or as a functional piece of the House Among the various objects that are at home, you will see several furniture by Gaudi as a designer, similar to those that exist in the Interior museums of Sagrada Familia.
Deeply religious and having failed to conquer the love of his life, Pepeta Moreau, dedicated to his main task, the Sagrada Familia, rightly given by the world to him, the nickname '' the Architect of God ''.
The House is distinguished by its design and facilities. The impressive for visitors is the bedroom of Gaudi, in which there is a wardrobe and his bed. It is strange that the bed is very narrow, as should be necessary. While he had the money to have a bigger and comfortable bed, he imposed on itself restrictions with rigor. As a deeply religious Catholic, drew motivation from the perfection of the Divine!
My personal view of his works is that he managed to find the symmetry and harmony, characteristics which established his works as Monuments, which are close to the ‘’Divine Perfection’’! In my photos I tried to ‘’catch’’ the moment, to ‘’ steal’’ a piece of this Perfection, even in a digital form !!!
All rooms of the House are open to visitors and in some one specific, projected a short film on the life of Anthony Gaudi. In another room on the second floor, also there is a small exhibition with photos of the life and work of the Architect. In one of the outer rooms housed a small souvenir shop.
I highly Recommend to visit the House, because you will have the opportunity to experience another dimension of character of Gaudi and maybe you can decode (if you try), the hidden messages in every point of his works, which have been rightly included in UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Some reviews seem to be talking about somewhere else. This is the small house in the middle of Park Guell. Total rip off. ?5.50 to go in, very small, empty and uninteresting. If you are interested in Gaudi go see one of his own buildings or simply enjoy the park itself for free!

You've already paid a bit of cash to get into Park Guell only to find that the Gaudi house is an extra 5.50 euros. More interesting from the outside because there's very little to see in the interior as pleasant as you can imagine it might have been. Gaudi was a religious man and he had a small chapel inside the house however there's no record of what it looked like so they built a small alter next to his bedroom on pure speculation. One of only two houses designed and built by others than Gaudi, it was to have been one of 60 houses the developers had hoped to build on the site that failed to attract any buyers. Although some of Gaudi's furniture is on display you can see much more of that at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. I didn't think it was worth the money frankly.

Park Guell itself is incredible and the house is nice from the outside. It is over 5 euros to enter this 'museum' which is essentially 2 small rooms of chairs. Some reviews seem to be confused with other far bigger and more substancial gaudi museums in Barcelona - this one is not worth going to. However, the garden and shop do not require a ticket to see so they are worth visiting in a walk around the amazing park.

Simply a waste of time. The building wasn't the work of Gaudi either.

If you are interested in learning more about Gaudi's work, go to the Casa Mila where the informative exhibitions about Gaudi comes with 3D showcases of his architecture projects in the city and the natural elements inspire his work.

Don't bother with this tourist trap. Enjoy your stroll in Park Güell instead. he Park gives you a real insight into Gaudi's magnificent work.

Glad we went to visit the home. Located in park Guell, beautiful home, beautiful views, nice part of park. Paid just for the home tickets and still was able to walk the park. Happy I didn’t pay for the Park Guell crowded and noisy. Maybe not for everyone but we were happy to have made the effort to see.

If you are planning to see the Park Guell, you may want to visit the house of Gaudi, the place in which he lived during most of his life. Not a must to do. But in order to see and feel his inner world, this place can be a good key to Gaudi's state of mind. Especially his bedroom, his prayer room and the video about a nun's first hand memories about Gaudi's daily life is worth to see.
