Came in late from our tapas tour with Jordi of Explore Catalunya. Performers needed a haircut and shave(band). They welcomed other unkept personnel from the audience who performed. Two of them bellowed in unison as if they were constipated and losing the battle!!! Having seen tango, fado, this place/show was nothing to write home about!!

It is a very convenient place to visit for a flamenco show in Barcelona. Situated n Plaça Reial which is in the city center, you can just go there and buy your ticket just before the show. The price is cheaper that other options to see a Flamenck show in Barcelona, however, personally, I was disappointed as I expected more dancing and complicated choreographies. But not bad to get a taste of flamenco.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the show is less than an hour and the venue is small, in a good way. It is also reasonably priced. In previous trips to Spain I have been to other Flamenco shows with more dancers and musicians. This is a great option for the price. But if you don't mind spending more you can also check out other shows in the city.

The show was very impressive, I felt like it was worth the money paid. We even left a tip at the end as we were touched by the performance. I cannot tall if the show was so precisely practiced that it looked seamless or the collaboration between the artists allows them to improvise their next move with no problems in synchronicity. We were asked to queue up before the show so make sure you arrive early if you want front row seats. We sat in the front row but I must say the first row is awkwardly close to the stage and the benches are short and oblige you to sit very upright.

The guitarist and the dancers were good, but I couldn't see the dancers feet. The singer sounded very tired, or perhaps his voice wasn't amped up correctly. When I came here a few years ago the layout was different, with less people watching and I think there was a wider stage area.

We recently attended a show here - the singers and dancers were great! It was a shorter show than some of the other options, which was good as our 2 boys would not have enjoyed a longer show. This was the right length to give them a quick introduction to flamenco. Recommend arriving a few minutes early as there is no reserved seating.

Amazing experience, 10/10. I took my mum here (we try to avoid touristy attractions but thought this would be fab) and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. The singer was amazing, and the dancing honestly made our jaws drop. Would definitely recommend this place!!!

Los Tarantos is the cheapest and one of the best Flamenco performance in Barcelona. It is at very convient location at Plazza Reial on Las Ramblas about 150 metres from Liceu Metro Station heading towards sea near KFC & Mcdonalds.
We were a family of 4 with teen kids, liked the show so much that we saw three shows in our stay of three days. Movie camera and photo without flash is also allowed.
I highly recommend the show as top attraction while visiting Barcelona.
There were three 30 minutes shows daily and every week different band performs with male and female electrifying dance performances with live band and vocals. Its ticket was euro 8 per person and 50% off for children under 16. The place is small with seating capicity of around 50 persons. Its the best value for money.
To avoid ques and to get front seats, you should buy tickets of show in advance and should come 15 to 20 minutes before time to grab the best seats.
Fantastic experience !!!

Tarantos is a small bar/theatre on the side of the placa reial just of las ramblas. For those who have the slightest interest in traditional flamenco music and dance you MUST go there. It only costs €5 entrance and the show lasts half hour. The 5 performers are all young and extremely talented and enthusiastic. The show is very well assembled, giving you a taste of flameno song and dance. I know nothing about this but it certainly opened my eyes! There are 3 performances nightly at 8.30, 9.30 and 10.30pm. Nextdoor there is a jazz club called Jamboree, that turns into a dance club after til 5am. so your whole night is sorted!

If you are looking to see some good Flamenco Dancing but not wanting to spend a lot of money this is the place. The show is only 30 minutes and 6 euros a person. They have a pitcher sangria sale as well that is cheap. Very affordable and really fits into anyone with a tight schedule. Bonus: It is located on a square off the La Rambla and there are tons of merchants selling neat things.

HollManc1990 mentioned that there was one duet performance, one solo female and one solo male performance. My question is: are there only 3 performances total? Or perhaps each danced more than once?? I understand the show is a total of 30 minutes, and one review stated that the stage show was only about 7 minutes. I'm wondering if we will be entertained by only 3 different performances.

The total of all the flamenco dancing is 12 minutes out of the 30 minute show. The dancing was very good. The rest of the show was fine if do not care that you are not seeing a flamenco dancer the rest of the time

a) Are the tickets to be booked from the flamencotickets site or some other one?
b) Are the tickets for the first two rows separate? The flamencotickets site is offering VIP seats (first two rows) at 20 euros, but I don't see them at other sites like Viator, TA, etc. The only option there is the 17 euros one.
Thanks!

למה הופעה שאמורה להיות הופעת פלמנקו , היו בה שני ריקודים והשאר נגינה בגיטרה . זה הרבה יותר מאכזבה , זו יותר קרוב לאחיזת עיניים . ממליץ לא להתקרב
