I do not know the reason but the smell of the water is very strange, it seems to be like eggs, watered eggs or something strange, moreover you can drink tea in order to try to not breathe because you can fall into the waters

The Aire baths is truly a one of a kind spa experience. just the fact that they don´t let to many people in at the same time is perfect. The lighting, music and feel gives you a completely different vibe. We had a 60 min massage as well witch was good!

I have to say that I wish I could provide two ratings, one for the masseuse and the other for receptionists and other staff. Long story short after four long days full of meetings, I wanted a few hours to relax. It was late at night and I went to their website to book, my bank wanted to confirmation that... More

I visit quite often Aire de Barcelona and usually with friends. It is a great place to relax and share good moments. Only be aware you must respect silence there Staff is nice and you can drink fruit water or mint tea all the time Several pools with different kinds of water and different temperatures are spread out in an... If you are lucky enough to visit Barcelona, do yourself a massive favour, and visit AIRE, and you will not be disappointed. This place oozes tranquillity, and calm, and was just what we needed after a heavy weekend of eating drinking & clubbing. The changing areas are secure, and you can lock your bags away. You then go downstairs, and... More

We got a Spa pass for two with bombons and Champagne at Aire Barcelona. We were very excited to enjoy it because the last time we came we really loved the experience. This time we have to say that it was disappointing. The installations of the spa are the same, spacious and very well kept but the personal was not... More

I wanted to take a small break from all the walking. I found this spa that seemed to go well with we were seeing underground. We had been to the Barcelona Museum and saw Roman bath ruins under the town. Even back then they were experiencing the benefits of cycling between various temperatures of water. The cold bath was extremely... More

I have never been in a spa like this! The staff are very helpful, but the baths and whole atmosphere and environment is amazing. The whole place is candlelit, making the experience so atmospheric and relaxing. The baths are lovely, a couple of freezing cold baths, a tepid one, a hot one, salt bath, Jacuzzi, sauna, etc. Lovely relaxing music... More

Aire de Barcelona is well worth a visit. We added a massage to our pass and it was definitely worth it - you won't be disappointed. The pools were fantastic

I took my boyfriend here (he wanted to experience the different salt baths: there is only one) and I wanted a massage. Upon entering the women's locker room, I was a bit confused as no-one was there to greet me, tell me whee I was to go, etc. So I just followed other women and found a locker, etc. Then... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
