We loved the view! And I fully recommend walking up the hill which is not that tiring as we thought before. The only problem is time. You need a lot of it to see all the things this place offers and going there on the last day, having only a couple of hours, was definitely not the best idea...

Beautiful park to explore and spend an afternoon. We were on a mission to find a pair of giant slides that we had stumbled upon our last visit to Barcelona in 2010. We had a picture from that trip our son saw and he had to find them. It took what seemed like an eternity (playground slide in Spanish is tobogan, btw), but we found them. Our son immediately wiped out, they're very steep!! Still a fun day with just a few bruises.

This parc is is a beautiful piece of architecture, viev and gardens. Take the local bus or a good walk up to the mountain in the afternoon. You will get a marwellous view and sunset over Barcelona when you are here. Strongly recommend everyone to see this house when you are in Barcelona!

We got the cable car from the underground station, so it isn't a cable car, it is an underground, that was the normal price. But when you get off and get on the cable car it is Barcelona prices, so we walked up. The gardens just up the road on the left are nice to walk through, you then go through a car park, but only cutting across it. When you get to the top it is worth going into the castle because you get above the trees and have a great view of the city and the port. There is also a nice little cafe, but it takes a while to get served, so send someone in as soon as you get a table. Overall a nice break from the bustle of the city.
