The wait can be long - at Christmas time it was about a 30 minute wait to get tickets and then another 10-15 minutes to get to lift, and then another 30 minutes before getting into the car/compartment. Great views from the tower - 5.5 Euro (without the ride); 11 Euro one way & 16 Euro return, Wonderful picture taking... More

one way ticket is 11 euro, a return is 16.5 euro. We really enjoyed. We came down from the hill the cable car. When you arrive to the terminal with the cable car after you can go down with an elevator to the port. We had to wait about 20 minutes before we could get in the cable car. Approx.... More

Guess I didn't go in peak season-it was early November and I was in the queue by 11am and within 35 min I was on my way.. Clearly you need to go early whatever time of year. I got a return ticket to Barceloneta for 16 euros. The lift goes up to the boarding platform so there is no effort... More

Queued forever and paid a small fortune for a very short ride. The views are good, but they are also from Montjuic and Tibidabo area (for the cost of public transport). Honestly not worth the money

We had such a wonderful experience on the cable cars. The queue wasn't too long but we were there at an off peak time. I can imagine the wait would be very long during the high season so go early, and make sure it's a sunny day as you'll see more. We got a 1 way ticket from the port... More

Over an hour of queuing. Only six people can go in the lift to top platform.but great views of bay and Barcelona. Very cramped in cable car. Try to get a space by window if you can. Ride is spectacular and exciting but very short.Better to book ahead to avoid a long hot wait.

We took the tram from the harbor to Montjuïc hill. There also is the Montjuïc Cable Car, which takes you near Montjuïc Castle. I wish we would have taken instead (or maybe in addition to). We had just been on a guided tour that took us to Montjuïc hill, so we really didn’t need to go there again. The lady... More

The wait to get on was over an hour. The cable car holds about 15 people. It took forever standing in line and it wasn't cheap either. Then it arrives and you stand more after standing in line. Some people were in the middle and could barely see. The ride is short and the view is nice There are much... More

On a wet day we gave this a try. While rather quiet it takes a long time to get on the cable car. There are only 2 cars. One going each way and it is a 10 minute trip for about 15 at a time. The ride itself is fun, but i would hate to do in peak season. At... More

What a terrible waste of two hours we will never get back. Unfortunately the organization of the queue is very poor with no estimates of waiting times and no warning of additional hidden wait lines before you actually get the cable car across the port. Not sure if the views are even worth it. What a disappointment.
