Barcelona City Tour is the 'Hop on & Hop off' service of this Spanish city.

Our service offers you two routes to get to know and explore Barcelona from our bus but also letting you go on and off as many times as you wish to go all over the city on your own.

Admire the architectural beauty of Sagrada Familia, a work by the great Antoni Gaudi and symbol of Barcelona; go for a walk at Park Guell that joins nature and designs; contemplate La Pedrera and la Casa Batllo, two Modernist jewels at Passeig de Gracia; go all over the labyrinthine streets of Barrio Gotico; fall in love with Montjuic Mountain and Palau Nacional, amongst others.

Enjoy Barcelona with us!

Since our stay was short the bus tour was an excellent tool for us to have a quick round in the city. The hop on hop off starts from placa de Catalonia. The red and blue line were operational during our visit. If you are planning to watch a match at Camp Nou... take the bus see city and plan... More

Two routes are offered and one ticket covers both, the routes are extensive that I would get the 2 day pass for Euro 39 per person to make the most of it. Be prepared that in windy weather, the upstairs open air can get cold in the winter spring months. Also keep an eye on the times of the buses... More

This was my first visit to Barcelona so naturally I wanted to see as much of the city in the 2 full days available. Me & my partner purchased a 2 day ticket for €39. The ticket allowed unlimited hop on/hop off and use of both green and orange routes. The value of the ticket in my opinion is very... More

You get a really good overview of Barcelona if you have the time to do both routes. Realistically, if you stayed on both routes without getting off either, you need about 3 - 3 1/2 hours. The audio system however is awful. The first one we used did not work at all - neither of the two outlets. When we... More

Great way to acclimate yourself with Barcelona then later select the attractions you wish to revisit. The audio headphone provided are in 15 languages and very adequately highlight Barcelona's main attractions. We completed both routes in the same day then the following day visited some of the attractions via Barcelona's excellent Metro system (Hint: buy the Metro's T-10 ticket for... More

There are two bus routes covering different halves of the city. One ticket is good for both. Each takes about 2:30 to complete a circuit. Buses are comfortable double deckers with a pull-back top on the upper deck. The buses we were on were well-maintained, had free wifi and (in the lower deck only) USB ports (but regular charging only... More

Just read a TRIPADVISOR review rating this tour a 1 out of 5 titled "The worst customer service experienced to date” published about this tour two weeks ago. I would agree with this assessment, as my wife and I had a very similar experience today to the one they described. At one of the City Tour bus stops we spoke... More

Dear PFC2, Thank you very much for writing this review. We would like to apologise for this experience you had with us. Apparently, you were informed wrongly as we do not have this policy and our staff could not do anything to help you. We do have a ticket for two days for 10 extra euros but it is a... More

I purchased a 2 days ticket for 2 people at 70 euro in total. I received a confimation email on my mobile. We get on the bus, we showed them the bar code on my mobile and the person in charge printed 2 paper tickets which he asked us to keep for "hop on and hop off" purposes. The next... More

Dear Stephano, We are really grateful that you took some of your time to write a comment about our tour. We would like to apologise for the experience you had with us. This could have been arranged differently since you had already paid your tickets. However, our staff cannot act in a different way. The reason why they are not... More

The bus went around great locations and the price was not too bad at all. You can get on/off at whatever bustop you want and the headset explains interesting details about the tourist locations. However, often the headsets can be broken or the audio doesn't work. Nevertheless worthy for what it is!

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
