Great way of seeing the highlights but hop off at the main sights if time permits

This is a must do its reasonable and you can hop on off the bus we do them in every city we go too and you learn so much and its the easiest way to get round the city. Do the 2 day ticket as its only 10 euros more and the staff are lovely and helpfull

It was our first time in Barcelona, and so wanted to see as much as possible in the couple of days that we were there. The bus tours run by city sightseeing are some of the best I have ever experienced in any city. They go to all of the main sights, and stop close to them!! I would recommend... More

We have used City Sightseeing buses in a few cities in Europe so was familiar with how they worked. We were visiting by cruise ship so researched which stops were nearest the cruise port in advance of our visit. We covered mainly the red route, picking up the bus at World Trade Center and getting off at Casa Batlló for... More

Well, Its something that every town must have it. We saw everything! We had two days and you took both lines .You can stop wherever you want and stay there long enough. There is an electronic guide on the bus which is exists in many languages(except Greek). Many thanks to the staff who were able to help us.Good job!!!

This city bus tour is well worth the money. 1 ticket covers 3 routes and with 2 routes over 2 hours long and the 3rd one 40 minutes, it is great value for money especially when you can hop on/off at anytime. Plenty to see and they run roughly every 10-15 minutes so plenty of choice. You can use the... More

The tour actually take you around the city and theres audio guide in it so you can learn the history. But if you really want to enjoy Barcelona, I suggest to take other option, searching for top spot in Tripadvisor, rent a bike for couple of days.

We bought the 1 day ticket for this " Hop on - Hop Off " tour ( there is a 2 day ticket also ) our Apartment Reception and took it to one of the Barcelona Bus Turistic ticket offices/ "Stationary Bus" where they validated our tickets and gave us the ear phones, bus guide book and a valuable booklet... We booked on line but this didn't help us when it came to queuing. The queues around Placa de Catalunya in the mornings are massive (& seemed to be at other times of the day too) The buses are very frequent so although the queues are long the wait isn't too bad. We only booked a 1 day ticket and... More

The Blue line for the Hop on Hop off bus was really great - not much queuing, the buses came regularly and there were interesting sights along the way. The Red line was a different story. Long queues and waits for the buses. The Red line had numerous empty buses which stopped at the stops and then didn't let anyone... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
