I have two separate opinions on the school itself ( as in the spanish classes ) and the shared appartment I was allocated by the school. The spanish classes are globally very good. During my 5 weeks long stay, I had 3 different teachers: two out of the three were amazing, very interesting and able to explain clearly grammar and... More

Hi! Thanks for your opinion about the school. Regarding the apartment, we are sorry that your experience was not as expected. It’s a pity that you did not tell us when you studied here. If you would have let us know right away, we would have send someone to check it the same day that you took the pictures in... More

I was only at Ole for 4 days, but the teachers were really great and I would love to return. The semi-intensive was very grammar heavy, but well-explained.

I spent 5 weeks in Ole languages in Barcelona and I had excellent teachers. We are small groups and the teachers are very profesional and helpfull. One of mine was Chus. She gave excellent lessons specially in gramar that is a hard point in spanish. This type of people help you a lot to progress very fast. By the way,... More

I ve been going to this school for 8 weeks now and I definitely can say it was worth taking this school. All of the teachers are very nice and friendly. The atmosphere in the classes and in the school are relaxed - all the teachers are quite young. If you have any problem, Rosa the coordinator is always there... More

I have only studied at one language school, but I found Ole great and I would recommend it to others. My only advice would be (1) try and book one of the apartments close to the school otherwise you have a 45 minute walk there and back - and in and in the heat, with all your books, that can... More

This school was recommended to me by a French friend who studied here for a month during Summer 2015. There is such an overwhelming choice of language schools here in Barcelona, I decided to try out Olé for two weeks to see if it suited me. I was a little anxious about returning to education in middle age, but the... More

I took 3 weeks course, 2 weeks semi-intensive and 1 week intensive class. For intensive class, you can practice more your spanish, as the additional hour is for conversation. However, semi-intensive class is also enough as long as you can practice your spanish outside the school. I love Ole! The teachers were so friendly. They could explain the material in... More

I have been at Olé Languages school for 4 weeks during July and August 2015. I took intensive classes and I have been wonderfully with them. Teachers are well prepared and don't make classes boring also considering that within the intensive course you get to change teacher after half of the class. What is more important, they are extremely flexible... More

I spent three weeks at Ole and would love to return. My teachers (Diego and Gemma) were kind, patient and very skilled, it was an absolutely pleasure being taught by each of them. :) I learned a lot from them in a short time and they made the classes really fun and accessible. I was an absolute beginner and had... More

I stayed at Ole Languages school for 4 weeks. It was a great time. The teachers are realy nice and good. They can explain not realy exciting grammar stuff in an interesting way. The other students at the school are really open minded. I met allot of nice people. I stayed in an shared apartment rented out by the school.... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
