Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The church of St. Martin of Tours in Segovia is part of the UNESCO heritage site "Old City of Salamanca", and it was built during the 12th century - it is first mentioned in an 1117 document. It was later modified during the 15th century, and it is in a mix of Mozarabic and Romanesque styles.

I was in Segovia for three days, and I only found this church open on my last day: inside there are beautiful paintings and sculptures, and a small museum - this can be viewed only from an iron door, by inserting a 1 Euro coin to light it. There are no explanations on what's in the museums, but the most beautiful art pieces of the church are here.

The San Martin Church, Segovia was built in the 12th century in moorish style. It uses red brick with a mix and match. The tower is Mudejar style. On its side is a row of pillars of roman architecture.

The San Martin Church has an impressive atrium which has round arches resting on columns with Roman capitals. The apses are in the Romanesque style. The church has a wonderful sculpture of Saint Francis of Assisi by Pedro de Mena and the Recumbent Christ by the Gregorio Fernandez.

In the Plaza de Juan Bravo square, this is a very ornate and beautiful building which shouldn’t be missed. If you are lucky enough to get inside it’s well worth it.

Between the Aqueduct and Plaza Mayor. Do not skip vising this church. Ornate alter but totally bare elsewhere. Another photo opportunity in Segovia

Built in 12th century and later modified to the present Romanesque structure, this church is big compared to the surrounding churches in Segovia and has numerous tall rounded openings called archivolts which isn't present in any other church in Segovia. Admission is free and spend at least 20 minutes inside the church to appreciate the structure which is so different from the others.

A building with three naves with three sections each, a huge brick bell tower and a magnificent ported gallery. Easily accessed when walking from the Aqueduct to El Alcazar

This is yet another most impressive and large Spanish Church.
It was built in the 12th century and is apparently still regularly well attended .
Once again owing to time constraints of the guided tour we were unable to spend time inside, but it appeared to be a little sparse.
Definitely worth seeing.

I was on a tour that stopped here. It is a very big and impressive church. Since it was a tour and I was rushed I was affected by it being closed for an hour for some reason so I only saw the outside. I did very much enjoy the part that I saw.
