This square is impressive and surely in my top 3 in Spain. The atmosphere is great to take a drink or a tapas. The square is very well preserved. You really feel back in time.

Really vibrant place. Liked it because it was so authentic, not an English voice other then ours! Some places closed as it was New Year but some beautiful shops and sights. Would like to go again.

You will review typical Spanish market: a perfect square, populated with cafes and restaurants, with plenty of music. Evening concerts often you listen very beautiful even compete among themselves famous mariachi. In parallel streets, find places with good prices.

There are three magnificient Squares all around the world, Bruxxells Central Square, México D.F. and Plaza Mayor de Salamanca. The Salamanca´s Square has been built a few centuries ago. But it is fantastique. With a lot of shops and restaurants. No cars are allowed to go to the square. Just people walking are allowed.Free of charge, of course

An amazing square with architectural integrity that most other squares in Europe would struggle to match. Elegant cafes and restaurants, commercial signs kept under the arches - a real gem.

Its a must see in Salamanca. Its cold and damp in December wish gives it a nice touch by night. Lots of places were you can eat or just have a coffee and relax a bit.

Architecturally it's amazing. Its a hive of activity. While we visited it during the first week of December, which traditionally, would be a quite period its was still very busy. A lot of restaurants and bars. A must visit when in Salamanca.
