This is an amazing piece of architecture, worth visiting and pondering on how it was built so many years ago. Just stunning. All my reviews are based on genuine first hand experience, if this has been helpful to you please give me a helpful vote,...More

The entry fee includes the audio guide, which is available in several languages. It is easy to get around, not overwhelming. If you are a senior citizen, the cost for both the entry and the guide is a mere 4 Euros.

We were in Salamanca for a very short time so we were unable to see the inside of either of the two cathedrals. The outside was stunning in a beautiful old town setting. Definitely worth a visit.

The original 12th c church proved too small as the city grew in importance, so a larger one was added on in the 16th c. Climb the tower and walk along the roof terrace to see how the 2 churches are connected.

The audio tour will enhance your understanding of the reasons behind the building and decorations of this cathedral. Take your time to fully explore the building and it’s history. Don’t forget to head up too.
