This Cathedral known as the "new" is built in a totally different soaring lofty style to the older original Cathedral. There are many exquisite side chapels to look at. We were fortunate in being able to attend a service in one of these which was...More

Inside is nice, with several beautiful chapels and an ornate organ. Make sure you look for the rabbit, the astronaut and the gargoyle eating ice cream.

There is a small entrance fee to get access to the New Cathedral. The entrance fee also allows one to see the Old Cathedral with the use of an audio guide, which was very good. There is much to see and admire in both churches.

This place was fantastic. The art and history inside the cathedrals is wonderful. We also had the opportunity to take a mass (in spanish) and it was really nice.

This cathedral reminded me of the one in Sevilla. Absolutely beautiful! We especially liked the dome with the figure of a dove, which could be seen more clearly thanks to a mirrored case, set up for better viewing.
