Plaza San Martin is a very attractive square with several brightly coloured buildings. It is also a lively plaza with a good selection for cafes, restaurants and bars. It's a really good place to come for a few beers and tapas.

While walking around looking for a place to drink something, we passed this plaza and everything was closed. It was around 1 o'clock and for us, Belgians, it was rather strange. Some hours later we came by again and everything was open and it looked...More

We found that many of the restaurant simply ignored tourists and served locals first, at one restaurant we waited 20 minutes to be served and simply walked out after three tables of locals who had arrived after us had been served. We did, however, find...More

There are lots of small squares in Spanish cities. We enjoyed this one because it was full of restaurants that were not quite as expensive as the ones on the Plaza Major that was just a block away. Yes, there were lots of tourists, but...More

Don't go out of your way to visit....It's a typical Spanish square which you can find in most towns and villages.....with a number of bars and restaurants.....It is not special.....There are a number like it in Leon. If you are nearby fine then visit.

This is just like thousands of other plazas throughout Spain. It's nice to walk through while browsing for a restaurant to eat at, but otherwise there is nothing special about it.

This plaza is situated in the centre of the old town and has many restaurants and bars. It is a pleasant place to seat outside and enjoy a meal on a warm day.

Plaza San Martin is close to the Cathedral; when you arrive Leon, grab a map and explore around. Restaurants, pubs and cafes can be found in Plaza San Martin with a happy and relax ambiance.

Great main square in the old town area to grab a bit, sit and chat with locals, or just read and while away the afternoon. Easily accessible from many parts of the city. I felt comfortable walking to and from here at night alone.

Plenty of restaurants and entertainment in the plaza and in the surrounding area. Excellent place for people viewing and shopping.
