One gorgeous El Greco painting that you should not miss while in Toledo. Note that you can not photograph the painting AT ALL. And the staff is not very helpful. I knew this so I just kept to myself and enjoyed the art. Take a moment to view the rest of the chapel as well.

A 2-minute queue on a mid-March Sunday wasn't too long, and EUR2.80 entry fee was OK too. The viewing area is just inside the first door and was quite crowded, meaning that you had to wait to get closer to the painting. It's quite impressive considering that it's from the 16th century and has never been restored, but I wouldn't... More

Our local tour guide Carlos arranged entrance which we understand can be long at times. Only a 5 min wait today and he explained the famous Greco painting

Our visit here was for one reason only, and that was to view El Greco's masterpiece, The Burial of the Count of Orgaz. We were fortunate to have with us a guide who was very knowledgeable and able to give us some insight into the painting.

The painting in unbelievable and worth the visit. The staff here is rude and disinterested. A local told me they are unhelpful unless being bribed by a tour group operator.

The real and only reason to visit this church is to see the Burial of Saint Orgas by El Greco. It is his ultimate masterpiece and repays a long study.

A bit surprised that it was just the painting and not the church we were visiting but the chance to see an El Greco masterpiece was worth it. The entrance fee is very reasonable and the audio guide a must as it gave so much background to the painting that was invaluable. Tio would be to get there early so... More

This church has the original painting by the master El Greco; this is his masterpiece, the best of the best the "Burial of the Conde de Rogaz". A must to enjoy.
