We loved this visit, although it was not necessarily about el Greco. Most of the artwork were painted by his followers and students. There is a space in the reception for suitcases and bags and you can store luggage there for free. Under 18s go...More

We were not quite sure what to expect of this museum. One good thing is that we came on a free day - so check their website before you go. And consider the possibility of taking a cab. We could have walked, but Toledo is...More

I am not a great fan of El Greco but felt that I wanted to see if my opinion had changed. The museum itself is a reproduction of El Grecos house. The garden was nice to look around, it was pretty and roomy. There are...More

We walked to the museum and enjoyed the work by el Greco. The museum can take about an hour plus and worth the time to enjoy. Students are free as well!

While the architecture of the museum can be quite interesting, I found the selection of works inside to be very underwhelming. During our visit we realized that there were more works by artists El Greco influenced by the man himself. I'd say go if you're...More

I expected this to house Greco's works of art. Instead it is a recreation of what his home and studio may have looked. It's a beautiful place with lovely gardens, and it does have a limited collection of his paintings, but not what I expected....More

We are not big fans of art museums, but this one was fantastic. The house was designed completely in the fashion of del Greco and the displays contain a great many of his works. My boys enjoyed identifying the different Biblical scenes and people.

This was really quite interesting, and a very informative museum. But I'd have to say, people who love El Greco's work would find it more enjoyable. We're not big fans of this era or style of painting, but could appreciate the history associated. Many of...More

Not the easiest place to find, but it is a must see if you like art. Many of his as well as other historic painters. I believe it was 5 Euro admission. I spent about 45 minutes there.
