When we visited hardly anything was open and it was quite depressing. The building had been renovated but they need to improve the traders appearance.

This old public market, which was originally built in the mid 19th Century, has been completely renovated on the inside while keeping its looks somewhat as originally built on the outside. It has now a nice tapas bar and several small business.

Excellent tapas and wine at affordable prices, also their restaurant had a very extensive menu, a very Spanish welcome and atmosphere. Many locals congregated in the Mercado to eat, drink and pass the time of day.

Nice well preserved building, some interesting market stalls selling excellent local produce but not one of the best market I have visited. I prefer markets that's only sell produce

Nice to visit if you're near, you can drink or eat something, staff was nice. Other than that, there is a tourist office, wine store and it is interesting that the prehistorical museum is right below it.

This used to be the old "plaza" market place - full of fish, meat, fruit and veg stalls. Now it has been converted into a place where you can find great food or buy presents, or clothes etc.... great atmosphere!
