Very nice beach, nice view. The only recommendation is be aware of the broken glass on the floor because on Friday night Spanish people has El Botellon and many broken glasses the next morning. So be careful of your child.

It's a beach surrounded by great mountain views. Food easily available. Beautiful. Go and see for yourself (when it's not raining in Santander)

Lovely area, clean beach and water. Good place to people watch, with plenty of cafe's and restaurants. Nice promenade if you fancy a walk with some really pleasant gardens and green spaces. A pleasant surprise and a different aspect to the other side of Santander.

Roughly , what can we expect to pay for a taxi from the port to the beach? And are taxis readily available at the beach to take us back to our cruise ship ?

I would say 4-5 euros. And yes, there are cabs near the beach. Plenty of them by the Casino and by Feygon. There is also regular bus service.
