The Peninsula is one of the attractions in Santander because it has the Palacio de la Magdalena and also a small zoo wher you can watch penguins and seals. Very nice view of the city, the beaches, and the bay.

We took the little train bus around the Magdalena peninsula. The Palace was closed but it was a beautiful day and the views were lovely not to mention the penguins and seals...historic and another venue for a lovely walk in Santander.

The palace itself was not open for a visit, therefore we concentrated on the park itself. First we took a ride in the little tourist train. We received some information regarding the park and the castle, available only in Spanish and then we walked around...More

Breathtaking views and awesome tour guide. If you saw the novela, “Gran Hotel” where love conquered all, you fell in love with this palace. You can also walk the park grounds.

Would recommend to go here for about 2-3 hours to enjoy the peninsula and all the beautiful surroundings. Interesting tour and history

Lovely place to go for a walk. All around the views are stunning from the top of the hill. Would advise finding out about opening hours if you're interested to go into the Palacio, I think it's only by guided tour at certain times.

Took the little triangle ride and tour, the small zoo was empty of all but some seals, and left. A nice walk with great views though.

Take your time around this 'park'. Well worth a visit with all the sea related exhibits and wildlife. It's free to enter and there's lots to see and do. Lovely walks.

I am not sure but the paths are wide enough. There is a bike hire outside so my feeling would be yes. I think it would be nice to cycle around it.
