Totally agree with the previous reviewer - a visit to this should be compulsory for all UK Town planners. Great design and lovely place. On sunday's the whole area is surrounded by a huge market with hundreds of stalls.

We went through an archway into a colourful and lively space. Beautiful flower stalls. amazing displays of fruit and vegetables. Many quality butchers stores. Trinkets and souvenirs to a more limited extent. Play area for children. A lovely place to browse.

Santa Cruz is the other side of the island from Puerto de la Cruz, so you would need to go by car or by bus. At least an hour's travel but suggest you check a map and bus timetable (horario).
