I found this beautiful square the thirth day of my stay and took some nice pictures: the Sant Cruz letter structure, the great artificial lake (which was unfortunately dry in March 2017) with panorama (mountains and cruise ship view), the tourist information house with its lovely green and flowers covered roof and the impressive monument in honour of the victims... We happened upon this Plaza by chance one evening. Several restaurants and shops close to the waterfront. If you are in the area, it's definitely worth a stop!

Loved paddling and sitting in the sun. A gorgeous feature along the town front. Cafe aside the water was nice too.

In the morning, shortly after dawn, this place looks magical with refclections of the mountains, buildings and Santa Cruz letter structure in the still water. Good spot for a photo :)

We parked in an underground car park that emerged onto the plaza. There was a great craft market. Don't know if it is on daily. We were there on a saturday. There was also a lot of free entertainment for kids when we were there & a nice playground. The large pond is very impressive with the cruise ships in... More

Lovely location with an hidden museum under the pool. Features the cannon that is supposed to have taken Nelsons Arm and part of the City Wall that was only rediscovered in the 2000's. Look for those dark foreboding steps and make your way under the pool.

As part of the Thomas Cook all day tour, we stopped for about 50 minutes in Santa Cruz. We saw very little in that time and nothing of touristic note.

Gorgeous spot to sit and have coffee when the sun's out. Try the kiosk with the plants on the roof. Check out the buns on the statues too.

We visited Tenerife during the Mardi Gras carnival & headed to this square as we were looking forward to seeing the lake. We were a bit disappointed to see that the lake had been drained, for the duration of the carnival. Nevertheless this is still a fantastic square, with bars & restaurants, a great place for people watching.
