Lovely beach spoilt by one of the worst coffees I’ve had. They used a jug of filter coffee and sprayed some frothy milk on top. Burnt my mouth and was tasteless. No excuses as coffee I’m Spain always excellent de macina

Its not the nice dream sand, but the lava sand works. You can spend a nice day here anyway with close location to the city and different cafés-

Lovely for spending a few hours in the warm (not too hot in January) winter sun. Good beach facilities available and a beach cafe. Had a paddle but the red flag was flying so couldn't swim.

Just about 20mins from the centre of Puerto del Cruz is a lovely promenade to walk to Playa Jardín which over looks the beach. A few restaurants along the walk to stop for a beer or glass of wine,

Great, big beach with lovely view. Toilets and showers on site. Restaurants very close. Great place to walk around. Close to city centre. Very nice gardens around. Mostly sand with some stones. Worth to take swimming shoes with.

Above the beach are gardens so when too hot it is ideal to get some shade. The beach itself is a good size and no over crowding, the locals use this at weekends. There are sun beds and a café and toilets along the wall....More

Unusal black sand beach, although really clean and beautiful. Waves are crazy big and high on this beach. Not allowed to swim, even walk too close to water.
