Nice garden, but we felt really cheated because the water was turned off so none of the cascades etc were working. We thought the public gardens at Parque Taoro were much better!

Great water garden in need of some serious maintenance. This must have been a fantastic water garden in it's prime but is now sadly a shadow of it's former glory. But for just 4 euro well worth the climb up the hill to get to it. Entry is via the nice shady gardens of a cafe which is just what... More

This was one of the highlights for my husband, as he is still a keen gardener, though he is ill with cancer..... A slow walk around this pretty place, with so many different sized pots it was a lovely day out. The water features were fantastic, as were the plants and the huge tortoises. Several different species of tree's and... More

I stumbled upon the Jardin Aquatico and it literally is someone's back garden. The house with outdoor seating is lovely - just stay there and have a cuppa. The water garden feels very fabricated and unnatural. The guy hosing plants didn't make it feel very authentic. There weren't any captions on any of the plants. Go to the botanical gardens... More

We visited here twice. The first time we didn't make it beyond the cafe garden which is how you enter the gardens themselves. The cafe garden area is beautiful with seating near to a pond which has fish and turtles. It is a haven of peace in busy Puerto, and a great place to relax and have a cold drink,... More

This is an interesting way to spend an hour or so. The gardens are fairly small and only take about half an hour to walk around. They are on different levels so there are some steps and slopes to be negotiated. There is a nice cafe at the top which is worth a visit after you have seen the gardens.

The park is on about 4 steep levels with lots of steps. There were not many flowering water plants at the time, but it has a great cafe and garden at the top level with a charming barman and entrance keeper.. €4 each.

The creation of this garden must have a major feat of engineering as it is on several levels of a steep slope.Very interesting - well worth a visit.

The succession of pools in Japanese garden style was built 50 years ago by the mother and father of the old lady who takes the 4€ entry fee. I doubt she could negotiate them these days; they're quite demanding, with broken steps and rope handrails. But they're very pretty and do somehow create an air of calm. Take a taxi... More
