A really good circular walk with magnificent scenery. Not too hard going but a good walk for exercise too. The lunar section is just wonderful to look at. A walk we will definately enjoy again

Now I know there are easier ways of reaching this geological feature but we chose a route that was fairly tough for us. However it was worth the walk and was fairly spectacular. Most of the trails around and about are difficult underfoot so be...More

You can park next to the church in Vilaflores. Walk south to the plaza where you see (on the left) the first sign. Walk 3 km till the loop begins. The left path goes all uphill for 3.6 km. The Paisaje Lunar is a nice...More

Walked from Vilaflor village to Paisaje Lunar in Dec. Nice, easy walk, although the first 1,5 km is quite steep and stony. The views were beautiful - but do not expect any huge and spectacular things to see. Overall a nice abt 4,5 hr walk...More

Scenic walk along a well marked stony trail. Not difficult as such but quite hard work as around a third steady uphill climb. The steepest section is from Vilaflor and if hiking from the village allow 3.5 to 4 hours return. However there is a...More

It's a nice scenic walk. The beginning of the trip walking from Vilaflor to the loop is quite steep, but not too difficult for an active person. There are some pretty amazing views on the way and the path through the pine forest is really...More

This is a pleasant walk through the pine forest. You would need a great deal of imagination to feel as if you were on the moon as the name of the walk wrongly implies. Somewhat disappointing.
