Luckily we had seen Trip Advisor before visiting the tree so did not pay to enter the park as we only wanted to see the tree. We therefore viewed the beautiful tree from a terrace in the village which gives a great view of it....More

This place is interesting because of the different kinds of trees. When I was there I remember seeing one or two that had flowers just like yellow trumpets, and a few others that had interesting trunks. Of course, the famous Dragon Tree, which most visitors...More

We were randomly driving around the beautiful countryside when we stumbled across this place. We paid a small fee to get into the garden area....however you can get a very good view for free from the local square above the private gardens. The tree itself...More

I visited this tree as part of tour which was called Jewels of Tenerife which started in Puerto De La Cruz and finished with wine tasting and the drive to get here was very impressive but I was not blown away by seeing the tree...More

Parked the car at the bottom of the hill on TF82 to save driving around the narrow streets trying to find parking. Lovely gardens with the Dragon Tree, the star exhibit. The gardens were well stocked and there was a short trip into the cave.

The great tree itself is nothing special. We didn't feel anything. City is much better. There are many wine shops around, try and choose a lot of spirits to find a favorite one.

Well, as many people pointed out, there's only an old tree (an a bunch of saplings), a few caves and a souvenir shop - nothing to be excited about... If you haven't done your homework. If you read a few pages on what a Dragon...More

Just a simple tree, we've seen plenty of those before. Yes it does look older than the rest, not sure about the over 1000 years story. There was some sort of butterfly park right next to it but it was closed at the time we...More

The tree itself is impressive. However, you don't need to go inside and pay for the entrance. The best view and the best opportunity for taking pictures is next by. It is from the elevated and public piazza which is itself worth a short visit.

You dont need to buy a tour (bus) to visit this place, easy accessable by renting a car for some days. Icod is nice and we will spend more time in this town next time.
