We drove up to the cable car station to have look around a lovely drive through the clouds, €40 for the 90 minutes trip.

Recommended to go up but wasnt advised about proper clothing. We stopped in various cafes to warm up. The view swere breath taking.

Wher ego start .this tour has it all even the - 10 degree temp when up the summit. This is a must do . Teide being the 4th highest peak in Europe...you go up.by road your ears pop the further you go up above sea...More

Went to Teide this week. Snow on top. Stunning blue sky. Cafe was a bit expensive and you had to pay for the loo.

Yes it is, google it and you will see when it last erupted. When we were at the top you could see smoke coming out of the rocks, it was warm steam and smelt of sulphur.

It's free of you have a permit. If not then u can pay for various tours. Permit can be booked in advance that usuall only issue 100 per day

If you are a non resident the price is 27 euro for adults round trip and 13.50 euro for children (not exactly sure on the age cutoff here. I believe we paid for our 6 year old and our 2 year old was free).
