Very nice small museum that tells the story of aviation in Lanzarote. The staff is very enthusiastic and will tell about everything that you see. The museum is on the old terminal. Admission is free.

We visited the museum on the day we flew back home. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The 1940s building was beautiful and I loved going up to the control tower. Some of the photographs and instruments on display were fascinating. There was some information provided in English, but not really enough and I think that we would have got... More

A must see for any aviation enthusiast. A museum housed in the orginal terminal building. Receptionist gave us a nice detailed tour as we were the only people in at the time.

We have been to Lanzarote a few times and had noticed this before but never visited and were glad we did ! I brought my 4 year old son and my firs impressions were how helpful the staff were. One of the female member of staff took her time and showed me the different parts of the museum exhibitions. The... More

Fantastic aviation museum charting the development of the airport and its role in the growth of tourism on the island. Easy to find just off LZ-2 on the road to Arrecife. The staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgable and very enthusiastic about the exhibits and the history of local civil aviation. There were plenty of audio-visual exhibits, uniforms and equipment... More

Only learned of this place through road signs when passing by the airport as it's barely even mentioned anywhere. An interesting way to spend some time for anyone wanting to learn about early aviation and the history of air travel in Lanzarote and the Canaries. The enthusiasm of the girl at reception made a good experience a fantastic one -... More

If you are interested in the history of civil aviation, this is definitely worth a visit. If you are lucky, you'll be shown round by the staff.
