An enjoyable museum with lots of interactive exhibits to play with (and learn from). The outside walls carry placards on the geology and fauna of the island which are well worth looking at.

A very well laid out and pedagocically excellent exhibition of physics and its practical application, even if the selection of topics seemed rather haphazard. A lot of engaging hands-on experiments at hand, and the many school classes that were attending during my visit had a hey-day. Very cheap for seniors (3 Euro) and something to be recommended, particularly on one... More

The museum is interesting and not very small, but cannot compare to some other museums of science and technology, such as that in Chicago or even Belfast. But then, it is much cheaper than those museums. It is interactive, even though there were quite a few exhibits not functioning when we were there. On the upper side, there is this... More

The museum not only exhibits stuff, it shows you how things work. You can try yourself how various physical and technical principles work. Spent a lot more time there than I had planned. This is a museum for both grown-ups and children.

Really interesting museum, plenty for all the family to see Aunt interact with. If you love pressing buttons, turning knobs and practising little experiments, you will love this place. We finished our visit with a film show which was in English. Great value for money with entrance fee of only 5 euros.

A beautiful experience for every age! Your kid will love the fighter jet, your wife will enjoy Katamino for hours and you will then be free to roam around and see, touch and hear so many technological wonders of this world! At least - that was my experience. Therefore-I recommend it highly! It's open all day, when you buy the... More

Our visit was not planned, we just noticed the museum and decided to go inside. The building looked not big from outside, hence we thought the exposition would be small for a quick curious visit. Big mistake! The museum was surprisingly large inside with a rich exposition consisting of various sections. A big plus is that the tickets are valid... More

What a great place to visit. Being pensioners we only had to pay 3€ !( It's only 6€ anyway). We spent an enjoyable 5 hours here. The 3D cinema was fabulous. It's ideal to take young people here too as most of the exhibits are hands on.Also you can come and go as you please on the day of your ticket... More

The Museo Elder has been an unexpected highlight of our trip to Gran Canaria. At only €3 (for students, €6 standard fare) it was excellent value for us. There were many interactive exhibits as well as impressive sculptures and a range of areas to pique anyone's interest. As people studying science degrees we got a little nerdy at some of... More

Found this by accident and was amazing value for money. Kids loved the robo coaster (included in ticket) and the gyroscope (over 18's only) park at the shopping centre over the road for 3 hours free parking. Lots of interactive exhibits and activities. Well worth the 18 euro ticket price for the family.
