This is a very nice square with a great view of the front entrance to the cathedral. It is totally pedestrianised, and it is a nice place to sit in, relax and take in the dramatic façade of the cathedral.

This is a very lovely square with the cathedral at one end and the town hall at the other. There are plenty of stone benches for sitting and admiring the facade of the cathedral and there is a very nice cafe at one side.

It is a little kitch--the bronze dogs marking the fact that the islands were indeed named by the Romans for dogs--but the plaza itself is lovely with beautiful restored buildings ringing it, including the impressive cathedral.

When we passed it was lunchtime and all the children from the school next door were playing out. Football skipping, tig etc. and the square was good too - loved the trees and the plant pots around. V V Nice

Largely pedestrianised, and well paved with smooth slabs. The cathedral is worth seeing, and the view from the top is lovely.
