Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The park was closed for safety reasons. It was very windy and some palm trees had already fallen over. Otherwise the park makes a very good impression, unfortunately we only saw it from the outside, there are lots of places to sit and a large lawn.

In itself this tower is not so very special, but the history with Columbus his wife living there compensates for that.

We heard a lot about the tower an the legend associated with it. But in reality it looks like a small (thought quite tough:) simple beauty

The main attraction here is the historic tower in the centre of this park which forms a green space in central San Sebastian. The park also boasts some large trees.

It is a fifteenth-century military vestige that remains standing remembering past times of the Gomeran capital. It is a very interesting walk around it as part of a walking tour of San Sebastián de La Gomera.

A small tower in the middle of the San Sebastian. One of the only tourist attractions in San Sebastian which has more or less murky history.

Not much to boast about. Small tower in the middle of a nice park with benches well-shaded from the sun. I don't know if it is ever open to the public - it was certainly closed when we visited it. Not much of a defence position, I would think - an 18th/19th man o' war would blow it to bits in a very short time.

Having with all the other passengers for the La Palma ferry been left on the quay without being able to board I was stuck for accommodation for one night. The Torre del Conde proved ideal with its friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom was far superior to that at the Parador. The pillows were not down but this cannot really be expected at such a low price. The food was acceptable

Beautiful landmark and a park around it. As everything in La Gomera - very compact, but is a nice small getaway among the trees and green yards. If you're a cat lover, you'll love this place as the park is full of bossy cats!
