Oasis Park Fuerteventura If you visit Fuerteventura and don't discover its Oasis you will miss out on a major part of its charm. Located on the south east coast of the island, Oasis Park Fuerteventura is a beautiful must-visit nature reserve. It is an 800,000m2 area sheltering and protecting its flora and fauna, home to over 3000 animals of 250 different species, containing a unique Botanic Garden with the largest cactus garden in Europe. The park has four LIVE spaces where you will be able to enjoy live educational sessions with parrots, sea lions, birds of prey and reptiles, with valuable information from their keepers. Entertainment guaranteed! Furthermore, you can have the unique experience of direct contact with lemurs in the Madagascar area, sea lions under the water and even a spectacular trip along the coast on a camel. These will be moments that you will never forget. Oasis Park Fuerteventura, in addition to being a place for entertainment and fun, is an entity dedicated to developing preservation, education and research projects for flora and fauna, such as those for the Cuvier's gazelle, the African elephant and the Canarian camel. Thanks to the work of the latter, it has the largest camel reserve in Europe, and research is currently being carried out on the health benefits that camel milk offers humans. Open every day of the year, it includes 3 restaurants, a children's play area and a farm with domestic animals. A free return bus service collects visitors from different points of the island.

We had such a lovely day here - it's a fabulous zoo with lots to see and do. We took the camel ride and lemur experience and also bought food bags at the zoo and fed giraffes, ponies, camels, and all sorts of other creatures (please check which you are allowed to feed) Animals seemed happy and well cared for,... Went here just me and my boyfriend and we both loved the full day. All of the shows which are free were very entertaining and we also got our picture taken with the seal lion and got to hold the snakes. A lot of walking and some parts are very steep hills but luckily there was a little breeze so... More

Wow what a different type of zoo from the ones I have visited before. Very clean, no smells and all the animals were out, even the cheetah. The free parrot show and seal show were entertaining but are very busy. Good selection of restaurants in the park and prices were good too. I fell in love with a baby giraffe... More

Having read all the positive reviews, I think I must have visited a different place to other people. I'd find it hard to say anything good about Oasis Park. The standard of care for many of the animals was disappointing, with many of them only having small simple concrete enclosures, with nothing to entertain or occupy them...40 odd alligators/ crocodiles... For us it is a privilege to have clients who are so aware of animal welfare and who care so much about the conditions in which our animals live. We can not say more than thank you for this constructive comment. We do not know the date that you have made your visit to Oasis Park, but it is true... More

Had a great day at the Oasis Park Fuerteventura!! - It had lots of different animals including two super cute baby giraffes! -There was a free bus from our hotel which was very convenient. -The shows were very entertaining and the animals seemed to be very well looked after -The restaurant had very reasonable prices.

What an amazing day! All animals are kept in open enclosures so there is a very positive feeling that there no all couped up which I don't like normally :( this is more of a park in which the landscape is also a go and see if not for the animals! All the animals were so so friendly especially the... More

This is a great day out if you're looking for a day out whilst on holiday. Most hotel offer a free bus to this destination and it has plenty to see and do. They have regular shows to see such as the Parrots, Sea Lions and Reptiles and Birds of Prey. Food is also cheap here if you are looking... More

Great day out. Well organised to walk around. There are some hills to certain attractions. However, you can hire little carts to pull along smaller children or electric buggies for people who require assistance. Some free shows once inside - parrots, reptiles, birds of prey and sea lions. Only saw two myself but both really good. Plenty of toilets around... More
