The town and port are beautiful. The climb up the steps is quite hard but well worth it. There are loads of interesting places to visit and a very warm welcome from the locals.

Love it here. Lovely views and good range of eateries overlooking the port. Fab walk round port and gin tasting at the distillery was very good. Then up some beautiful stone stairs for a brilliant viewpoint. We then walked around the old town. A must...More

We went there for a few hours from our hotel. It was really interesting taking the little trolley train along the old streets. Lovely harbour and sone nice shops and cafes too. The cathedral is also worth a visit.

The port is a lovely place in day light or after dark with the magic lights reflecting off the water, a few bars and restaurants simply divine.

We went on a boat to cruise round the very interesting Port of Mahon. Learnt a great deal of history regarding the buildings that were once used as hospitals and prisions. Red coloured large houses that belonged to the British gentry.

A lovely town, plenty local shops selling local goods. A great little cafe is located in the indoor market and has a terrace overlooking the port.

I'm not to sure but I think you get on a boat trip just along the road from where the cruise ships dock, saw a few of them around the harbour

So sorry I cannot answer the availability for this. There is a lot of stairs. It is quite uphill into the town. I hope there is an easier way for you to get up there. Hope you enjoy your cruise 🚢it is s lovely island.
