you need to walk good 15 min, in order to access this beautiful beach, however, it is worth it. The place has cafe/restaurant where you can get drink or snack. We visit it on the cloudy day, so it was not so crowded. One of the hidden places of Menorca!

This is beautiful Menorcan beach, accessed by a short, very enjoyable walk from Cala Galdana. The water is crystal clear, excellent swimming or lounging. One of the best.

I've been visiting Cala Macarella and Macaretta for over 20 years now and each time we find it gets busier, particularly during the high season. The azure blue waters and nearby limestone rocks are truly magnificent. It's fascinating to realise that the caves above the waterline were home to Minorca's early inhabitants and that they too swam and lived in... More

The beach is very, very nice. In the weekends it is very crowded as there is not that much space. The beach is onyy accessible by foot or by boat. Limited payed parkingspace is at nearby beach (Cala Macarella) at a parking fee. A free parking is also availble, it's a 15 minute walk to Cala Macarella, then another 15... More

It's a jewel this lovely beach, in spring and autumne, not in the rush season of summer, also nice walks around; people comes here because there is nothing, only the sky and the sea, and the silence, not a trace of luxury, so simply loved it;

If it is windy or had storms there is jelly fish in the bay/cove, lots of rubbish in the water and you have to fight off the rubbish in the bay. but on calm day the rubbish is in one corner of the cove and is beautiful, Great walk down or mountain bike trail but you must take your own... More

This place is honestly a piece of paradise! Water is so clear, and shallow. You can walk for meters and never need to swim. The walk to the beach is pleasant and not too hard- not recommended to families with kids tho. Amazing!!

We have tried two dozens of beaches at Menorca and Cala Macarelleta is our favourite one. It's hard to get there but once you reach it is like winning a prize, it's an idyllic spot. A paradise beach of crystalline waters, stunning landscape and nice people. It had a mixed crowd of nudists and all kind of people when we... More

We arrived on foot on the Cami de Cavalls after a hard 13km walk along the coast. We were looking to have a quiet swim. All the glass-bottom boats dock here with hundreds of holiday makers, so the beach is both very noisy and crowded. If you want some peach and quiet carry on past this beach on the GR233... More
