Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went here during a daytrip from Ibiza to Formentera. I loved the water, it is so clear you can see everything! The beach is nice with white sand, only thing is that the sunbeds are expensive. 30€ for 2 but I guess this js the regular price in Ibiza.

The beach is stunning but overcrowded. The number of boats moored in the small bay is shocking. They should put a limit to this.

Visited this beach in the late afternoon (6pm) and managed to get two beach beds for €10! The sun was still up though so got in some good tanning time. The sea was a little seaweedy but nothing atrocious and after a few hours there were some great little waves to play in! The sunset was very pretty and the beach bar was perfect for an sunset beer.

Beautiful contrast from the turquoise blue water and surrounding .
Probably as is further down from the harbour it looks less crowded, but the arrival by the sea (cruisers, sailing yachts...) make up for the missing cars.
Anyway there is plenty of space for everyone in the water...so what are you waiting for???

We travelled to Calla Saona on our motorbike from Es Pujols the journey took about 20 mins and it is reached by good roads going through very pretty farmland, if you travelby moped it will take you twice as long and the bus takes about 45 mins. As you approach the village the density of mainly hire cars and mopeds rises dramatically as free parking is at a premium, but there is a large carpark situated to the right of the beach.
Access to this fine sandy beach is by a boardwalk between a biggish hotel and on the other side set back a bit , biggish beach restaurants, non of which we sampled.
Its about 200yds from the end of the boardwalk to the seafront across fine yellow sand, the beach itself is 400yds wide surrounded by quaint roughly assembeled fishing boat launch/slipways, these have probably here for centurys and make whole scene very picturesque.
The beach has about 300 sunbeds on it but there is plenty of space in front of them to plonk down your towel right by the waterside. Sunbeds x2 +1 umbrella costs £15, towel plonking costs £00.00.
Moored in the cove are several miilions of £s worth of yachts of all sizes.
We opted for sunbeds, these are reasonably placed apart.
Up on the left of the cove sits a small but very nice beach cafe with tables all in the shade, its run by a very affable Spaniard with not too high prices for snacks/ small meals etc.
For you photographers out ther, just climb up onto the cliffs on either and snap up some very high quality views.

Beautiful beach and water. Very busy but to be expected in Height of the season. Water was very calm. Excellent idea of having cans you could put cigarettes in. They could do with some bins on the beach to help stop littering. Views were amazing. Definitely worth a visit if you are on the island.

Very very beautiful cala, a must see when in Formentera. A little bit far from the ferry harbour, and quite a few hills on the way (be aware of that if you plan on cycling there). But it's worth it once you get there. Stunning views & clear water are waiting. Would highly recommend !

Sapete per caso se è possibile prenotare ombrellone e lettino oppure se bisogna farlo sul posto?

Ciao a tutti ,

Where I can find a guesthouse or a room in reasonable prices ?

There is a hotel just above Cala Saona but I did not stay there. I stayed at Hotel Tahiti at Es Pujols. You may check google for the name
