This beach is the most beautiful on the island in my opinion - you queue and pay to get there and there is basically nothing there except one restaurant which I didn’t go in to and was dead every time I walked past it. The further you walk along the headland the more remote the beaches become. To the right there is beautiful white sandy beaches with surk for days and to the left the calm crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean lap the white sandy beach which is nearly perfect (as you go further up you get more sea debris in the sand but it adds to the rustic charm of this beautiful beach). Walk for 30 minutes to reach the very end of the island where you can see espalmador on the other side of the sea - there is nothing there apart from a lifesavers hit and a tiny bit of sand - worth the walk for the view but not a place to spend the day at if you like a big beach with amenities around it. It’s not recommended to swim to espalmador and while I was there I saw people trying to swim back to formentera and being told to go back to espalmador - so if you do swim over you might not be able to get back! …

This beach is a must see if you are visiting Ibiza, it doesn't cost much to get the ferry and then you just need a short taxi to Ses Illetes, I have been to the best beach in the world (Grace Bay, Turks and Caicos) and I believe this is the closest you will get to it on a short haul flight. If you want a Caribbean beach and weather with a 2.5 hour flight then this is the place to go. It is very clean and spacious, make sure to pack food and drinks as there are no shops on or near the beach.…

For us this is one of the best beaches in Europe. No need to go to the Caribbean! You can just go to Formentera and enjoy the white sand.

Wow - this beach is amazing. We had done a lot of research for our day trip to Formentera and we were so excited to visit this beach. It far exceeded our expectations and we would return on our next trip to Ibiza/Formentera as it really is incredible.
