Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Appalling front of house service led by a woman called Maria who apparently is in charge of reservations. An arrogant rude individual who should be avoided at all costs. Assistant front of house individuals looked confused and under pressure. Waiters however were delightful and setting very nice. Good food. If owners could sort out their front of house it would be a great experience.

Extremely arrogant service and believe me, I am always sweet and friendly and usually give a very decent tip. Sorry, not this time. What did I ever do to you or did u just have a bad day that u need to work out on the first visitors of the day?🤷♀️ Ruined the whole experience, that’s for sure. Lady in the Restaurant is very friendly and helpful and makes up unknowingly for the jerk on the beach

What a horrible place with 3 disco-beach spoiling what probably was a luxurious natural spot. Noise pollution all around and no place for people to lay on the beach. Avoid if you are with kids unless you know where exactly to go. It is a real pity. Such a nice island does not deserve such an unrefined, pretentious tourism.

Every year in Ibiza we choose the best spots for our stay. For 2016 the perfect one has been Cala Jondal - Alegría. Sun beds can be booked, table as well. Parking. Children friendly, nice staff, clean water in the sea. The only difficulty is getting into the water, but this can also be lots of fun!

The only way we could see to access this beach was to buy an expensive sunbed in the Blue Marlin. We are not one of the 'in-crowd' so did not try this. Drove off to find somewhere less glitzy.

This beach is appropriate for relaxing, sunbathing or eating at one of its several nice restaurants. The spot is beautiful and the water crystal blue. Also indicateur for beach clubs lovers.

Just spent a lovely day here. Decided against Blue Marlin and opted for the one next door, Es Savina. We had 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for €45. A bit pricy but we thought we'd have a treat. The beach consists of really large pebbles but is still really pretty, surrounded by cliffs. Lots of yachts moor up and transport people to Blue Marlin on small speedboats. The sea is clear and good for snorkelling, different fish can be seen only a feet away from the shore line amongst the rocks. Really enjoyed this beach but wouldn't recommended it for young children.

The beach itself is nothing to write home about. We stayed for drinks at Blue Marlin, and as usual, the vibe was good - trendy set of people and the Mojitos are still arguably the best served up in Ibiza!
