The cathedral is being renovated and a guided tour is the only way to see it. The cathedral itself is quite pretty without being remarkable but the tour was fantastic. Tours are mostly is Castilian and Basque with English language tours only occasionally. We joined...More

This is a bit odd visit because the building is in the middle of huge restoration works. This is also a reason for its interest. The guided visit turns out to be very interesting because through the explanation of restoration works the guide explains the...More

Catedral de Santa Maria is much more than your typical cathedral visit. The cathedral is undergoing a very long renovation and this allows you to gain a real sense of the history, culture and architecture. From the ancient foundations, you climb up through the history...More

The cathedral hosts a museum and it is located in a very central position of the city surrounded by green spaces. Massive and astonishing piece of art, definitely worth to see!

Huge and nicely renovated. Worth a visit if you are in Vitoria. We just visited on our own. Nice architecture & decorations.

Not long ago the old cathedral of Vitoria was nearly falling due to long standing problems in the foundations of the temple. After that, it has been renovated and it flaunts itself beautifully. A visit to the tower is worth to enjoy the views

We booked the visit with the English speaking guide and she was very good. Although it took about an hour and a half the time flew by as it was so interesting, from the underground excavation to the top of the tower. There are quite...More
