We walked to the base - although there are buses to that point. Then the funicular to the top then a climb (although there is a lift/elevator too) for the views from the Tower. A Cafe for a rest. A traditional style fun park for...More

The ride up the mountain is charming and the view from the top is fantastic. Unfortunately, the small amusement park is rather tacky, and the lack of good food options unfortunate.

We walked up and still had to pay to get in! Payed to go to the top of the tower! Great view though! Payed to use the toilet! Lousy dirty restaurant at the top with sad looking Pintxos. Payed to take the funicular down. I...More

Having walked right along La Concha beach from the Old Town it's great to go up the Funicular and get a birds eye view of San Sebastián and beyond. The tram costs a few euros and takes but a few minutes and the 360 views...More

We stayed at the Hotel here but I would recommend coming to visit here just fir the views and experience on the Funicular Railway. Also op into the hotel for a drink to catch the panoramic views from inside if it's windy!

Lovely train to get to the summit and the views from the top are worth the trip up there on their own. There is a cafe with a bar etc and a fairly tacky amusement park, but this is really all about the amazing views.

Quite a steep walk to the top but fabulous views. A lot of places would charge entry but this is free. Interesting ruins at the top with some signage in English. Worth the effort.

This is great for kids who will enjoy taking the funicular train to the top. It is then a small but friendly and fun park with wonderful views. I would rate it excellent because I like small things, but people sometimes complain because it is...More

About 5 mins, nice views, and lots to do at the top, and that's if you just go for the different views! I would strongly recommend going up the castle tower to the Best View in the World, and afterwards have a surprisingly... More

We were in a tour bus that went up the mountain but the road is narrow. Otherwise, cars shouldn't have a problem.
