My wife and I saw this beautiful Gothic church and enjoyed all the details of the church. We also went to the cloister and saw the little garden there. It is a bit overgrown and the plants need trimming.

Well worth a visit. The small entrance fee grants you access to this building and San Anton Church. You get an audio guide when you first go in, which is interesting and insightful. You get the full history of the building and it's inhabitants. Highly...More

We try to visit cathedrals wherever we visit - this lacked any wow! factor. Other people say it is worth a few minutes visit if you are in the area -probably but keep expectations low.

Cathedral de Santiago is in the heart of Casco Viejo not far from romantic seven streets - Las Siete calles. You will admire a pleasing cloister and Renaissance portico.

The cathedral is not worth a trip on its own, but if you are passing it is certainly worthwhile popping in. Although there is not a lot to see, it has a wonderful atmosphere. Take a few minutes to sit and quietly contemplate.
