Cathedral de Santiago

Fantastic and mind blowing how these structures are built. Worth a walk through old town to check it out.

If you just want to step aside from the crowd go a quiet place of reflection, this Catholic Church will certainly offer you that peace and serenity to visit with the Lord.

We were able to see inside this cathedral as we arrived just as people were leaving a Sunday mass. The building, like many other Spanish churches is less ornate inside than churches in Italy and other countries. However, its stained glass was well worth seeing.

This was only made a cathedral relatively recently and is more a 14-15 C grand town church. But it's worth a visit, as it's in the lovely old town and the outside facade, particularly the gothic main entrance, is notable. You'll see some carvings of old local merchants, which is quite unusual, but gives insight into their past role in... More

Walking around old town, you will discover many hidden corners and treasures. This one is obvious and stands out. I would definitely recommend walking around the structure or sitting at nearby cafes and looking at the impressive structure with some interesting stone structure elements. You will come across many beautiful churches in Spain. Bilbao was our arrival city and it... More

Nice church (albeit Spain has many that are more gorgeous and bigger). It also has pleasant surrounding.

This cathedral is right smack in the middle of the old town quarter of Bilbao With its little qaint streets littered with shops/bars/ and cafe's.. A tourist dream The church itself stands proudly with its stain glass window its main feature point Once inside it is very light not like we thought it would be... Most cathedrals are dark It's...
