Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Take the elevator hidden away in the entrance to the restaurant with the same name. On the roof, you find a well stocked bar. Nice seating although the service os not too good (glasses standing around and sticky tables). Drinks are good but at prices which are high for Bilbao. Lounge music. A nice place for a late drink. Opens in the late afternoon.

If you want to have a drink and have good views this is your place although it is a bit expensive. It's really worth it on summer nights.

Although there's nothing too remarkable about the views (you're below the height of all neighbouring buildings) this is a nice compact bar. High tables, bar seating and couches are available with a 'set' cocktail menu - couldn't do a dirty or clean martini, for example. Nice suntrap.

Rooftop bar was empty, but they said it was reserved, so they send us to the corner behind some trees

Hello Angie! We have had private events at La Terraza those days. We apologize for the inconveniences.

Nice find in the centre of Bilbao new part. The Phillipe starck designed building. Head for Yandolia terrace and you will get to a very rare roof terrace.

View was fantastic but the building itself is a little sterile and lacking in atmosphere. Drinks more expensive than usual.

Situated in the really cool alhondiga building, yandiola is a really nice rooftop bar with lovely views of the city. I recommend the piña colada!

Situated on top of the Ahlrondiga this is an ideal place to meet and have a couple of txacolis on a warm Bilbao evening. Even though Bilbao weather has not been so kind in June a group of us colleagues went there and enjoyed the service and Phillip Stark design. Comfortable outdoor furniture makes this place feel luxurious with views among the rooftops. Bathrooms are special, two floors down.

What a shame that such an emblematic place has such bad service. Who is in charge of supervising this place? Saturday night, 9:30. a chain at the entrance that says wait to be served, few people, three waiters who look directly at us and then look the other way, 10 minutes waiting and we leave without being served by anyone.. You judge

Three friends went this afternoon, with the intention of showing one of them the terrace that she didn't know.
It had rained previously but the chair where we sat was apparently dry.
What was our surprise when we felt, when we got up, that both our pants and underwear were soaked.
When we asked the waiter for explanations, he told us that the chair where we had sat had a small hole that caused water to leak and get the outside wet. When we questioned him about the reason for not notifying us, he simply said that he did not realize... There were not so many customers to ignore something like that...
It seems incredible that something like this could happen in a place like the Yandiola terrace...
We have had to go buy clothes to be able to get home.......
