We went twice to buy in of the stores selling cheese and cold cuts. In both visits we encountered very sociable sellers. The market has a section for seafood and fish. Very interesting products, and produce. Very festive too.

Love the stalls filled with different sorts of food stuffs. This is a great place to pick up ingredients for cooking at home. Nothing is ready made to eat except for cheeses, fruit, and pastries. Really great place to purchase fresh fish, meat or fowl....More

A structure that houses a nice array of traditional Asturian and Spanish food stalls, and has a decent cafería upstairs. It's in the heart of the casco antiguo, so it's lovely walk getting there.

Visit this market. It was featured in Woody Allen's Vickie, Cristina Barcelona. It doesn't disappoint. If you are staying somewhere with a kitchen, absolutely grab some fish! If not, it's still well worth the experience to shop around and observe the locals buying their daily...More
