Extended sand areas, a cozy port fro small vessels, a big crowd just lying down enjoying the beach is what you can expect from Playa de San Lorenzo. A nice promenade.

Beautiful looking, long (almost 3-kms.), beach in the heart of Gijon, Asturias, Spain. Water is a bit cool for most, approximately 17 -21 degrees Centigrade during the June - September time frame.

Walked the length of the beach on the Promenade....the beach is extensive and very very popular....it was sunny during our visit with lots of small tents being used and lifeguards visible. Beach very close to all the bars and restaurants.
