If you're interested in the Roman ruins in Zaragoza this forms a part of it. Before they built concrete roads and walls along the Ebro River, the water presumably got quite close to these ruins, which shows the actual port where the boats carrying goods...More

Museo del Puerto Romano is located in the old part of the city and it is one of the four museums about roman history of Caesaraugusta, the name of Zaragoza in the Roman period. It is the second littlest museum and here you can see...More

I enjoyed the museum a lot, as part of the Roman Route. I would agree with other reviewers in that the museum by itself may not be the best thing, but combined with the other three it is an amazing experience.

It's a small but interesting museum. With the help of the audiovisual video you can imagine the place as it was in the roman period

The entrance is at a building on a small plaza which is easy to miss. It's a very small site. They have a 10-15 minute presentation film which is of some interest

I enjoyed the museum because of what I learned about the transportation of goods down the Rio Ebro. Not worth the price of admission by itself but certainly worth a quick visit if you buy the combo ticket for La Ruta de Cesar Augusto.

A small underground museum, shows what little remains of the former Roman port of Zaragoza.
