Great option for the whole family. Once you recover from the vertigo induced by a glass step over the elevator shaft, you're in the comfort and protection of the enclosed viewing area.

This was 3 euro entry, not 2 as someone else said. (the museum is 2 euro). You go into a glass elevator & are whisked away at speed to the top. Both the up & down made my stomach jump. At the top is a...More

We went early and had the advantage of sharing the experience with only one other person. The main viewing platform is reached by lift, and the area is open so great for photography. there is a higher viewing point which is reached by a modern...More

We had to wait several minutes in the queue but it was worth it. Price is €2 and you get to enjoy one of the best views in Zaragoza. In a good day without fog, you can see as far as the Pyrenees on the...More

This is one of the best parts of visiting the basilica although obviously the religious splendour is a must see first. The views from the tower are just spectacular - the river, the countryside around the city, and the rooftops of Zaragoza, Go right to...More

The entrance is quite cheap. I think that I paid for both only 6 euros. At first you have to take the elevator and at the top you can take the stairs if you want to climb higher. Its quite difficult to take some pictures...More

We visited just after it reopened at 4pm - very quiet. Modern lift topped by a series of modern staircases ending with a rather tight spiral staircase that starts on a glass floor section! Fantastic vies from the very top but you have to look...More

I actually did not know I was afraid of heights until I took this Ascensor. I got a great picture, so I recommend it. However, if you have issues with heights, beware

When you go to the Basilica del Pilar, take a ride up in the Ascensor del Pilar (an elevator up one tower). You will see a great view of the city of Zaragoza.

The platform at the top offers a great view of the roof of the Basilica, the Ebro river and Zaragoza in general. A bit crowded at the top platform, but well worth the small entry fee.

Not sure if it opens on Sunday. There should be info on that in their own site. I would schedule about 45mins to an hour to enjoy the visit. Where the elevator ends there are still a couple of floors of stairs to go up. at... More
