In honesty there is not much to see, but I gave it 4 stars for its historic value. Arco del Postigo del Aceite, which translated means, Gateway of Oil, was once one of Seville's city gates when it was a walled city. Sadly, in the 19th century most of the ancient city walls were knocked down for urban redevelopment. So, it is worth a visit for its historical relevance. The length of the arch gives an indication of the thickness of the city's walls at this point.

Arco del Postigo del Aceite is another one of the last remaining so-called gates to the city of Seville. This early 12th century construction is only a ghost of times past. There is not really much left of it. It was part of the wall fortifications protecting Seville and was built during the time the city was under the rule of the Moors. In its heyday this gate, known as the Gate of the Oil or Olives or perhaps other names too, it was used as a gate through which various products would transported (in this case oil or olives) from the harbour. Worth a look as you are walking through it. Not much to see.

A simple arch that was part of the old city --- better yet near a couple of small local eateries for breakfast.

Arco del Postigo del Aceite is the archway next to the Postigo Building in the street running from the river towards the Cathedral. Very narrow, pedestrian jams, not much to look at.
