Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

During our walk around Triana one afternoon, this was the destination that I had in mind. It's a wonderful shop with many items to choose from, all very reasonably priced, and most important to me "Hecho en España".
We spent about half an hour looking around, and I ended up purchasing a ceramic house number for my home.

This is in the Triana District and very walk-able from Old Town. There is a small museum that was interesting but not that much to see. The walk through took 10 minutes for a few Euros as entrance fee.

There is a store right next to the museum with a lot of very pretty things that would be ideal for souvenirs. As far as I could tell, many of these were local craftsmanship and not cheap items made in China. I tried to take 1 picture of the store with it's bright colored items and got yelled at by the store keep. Not sure why as there were no state secrets in plain site.

Overall I would categorize this as a secondary sight visit but if you are in the Triana District, it may be worthwhile to drop by to check it out.

Incredible selection of reasonably priced ceramic products in Triana. Awestruck as I slowly walked around the store several times thinking what could I carry in my backpack. Eventually came across the glass case next to the cashier and found a piece to take home. Would have acquired more only if….

Triana is an enjoyable, laid back neighborhood that sees less tourists, but is not short of noteworthy stores (El Ronqueo O Despiece Del Atun - incredible selection of cannery products that will not have you missing Portugal) and markets (Mercado d Triana). So do take a visit to the other side to take in a broader view of Sevilla.

We visited this shop based on the reviews and boy were we disappointed. Their collection of ceramics in very small and not allot of pieces that stand out. We managed to find 2 that we thought were good but didn’t have any of our questions answered as the staff didn’t speak English.
After we walked out we realized it might not be smart to buy ceramics when we don’t know if the paint will wash off with wear and use. So we walked right back in to return the 2 items.
That’s when they called the super rude lady from the back who now spoke English and proceeded to tell us that they have a no return policy which is tucked away in a hidden corner where customers cannot see. Even after we requested her multiple time and told her we had just purchased the items less than 5 minutes ago she refused and told us to exchange the items for something else.
With no options of anything else nice enough to buy we were stuck with what we got.
So beware and your much better shopping at ceramics Rico across the street

This is touted as 'the thing to do' and so we did. Loved our walk over the bridge, through the market and into the 'Ceramic street'.....the store is exactly like the pictures and the time it takes to look at, think about and make your purchase is most enjoyable (well for me, not so much for hubby). No artist on site on the day we were there. The bubble wrap was really appreciated. BUT when we arrived home to Canada, found that I should have checked the mug I bought much more carefully - it had several flaws in it including a section at the bottom of the mug that did not get glazed. I contacted the store and brought this to their attention, about 3 weeks later, they asked for photos which I sent. 3 weeks after that I followed up and have yet to year anything from them. So, like people say about Ceramic shops - be careful - some of the goods are 'seconds' and it's "Buyer Beware". When you are at home you are too far away to do anything about it. Makes for a sour taste about your 'souvenir' ceramic.

There's lots of choice here; if you're looking for Spanish ceramics to take home then this is worth a look. Prices seem quite competitive although we did find some identical things in other shops a little cheaper but not significant so.

We wanted to find mementos from our trip to Sevilla and when we walked into Ceramica Triana, we knew we were in the right place. Everything in this shop is beautiful and we had no problem picking out cups, plates, bowls a water jug and vase. Each piece is unique, beautifully made and colorful. It arrived so well packaged with each piece bubble wrapped.

We were wowed. Such a treasury of good-looking fired clay. You can't believe the variety and the soul of tradition on display here. They will ship of course.

On a rainy morning, we wandered over to Triana to the Centro Ceramica Triana, located next door to Ceramica Santa Ana (which should be reviewed separately as that retail store is not an official part of the museum). When you walk up to the museum, be sure to notice the gorgeous ceramic tiles that adorn the base of the columns at the museum entrance. Admission is only 2 euros. But, plan ahead! If you also visit the Alcazar, save your ticket. You can get into this museum for free! Sadly, our Alcazar ticket was back in our hotel room. The gentleman selling us tickets seemed very disappointed that he had to charge us despite having been to the Alcazar, but we gladly paid the small fee. They do offer a discount for senior citizens as well. This museum opened sometime in 2014 and bears the marks of an evolving institution.

We enjoyed our visit here a great deal and learned a lot about the processes of making ceramics in Triana. Audio visual presentations provide information on the clay from banks of the river, the pigments uses to glaze the ceramics, and the lives of some of the factory workers. The museum displays basins with what look like giant mortar and pestles used to grind up the pigments for these glazes. Some walls are covered with tiles created in Triana and showcase the range of colors used. These tiles ranged from very artistic to very utilitarian (e.g., addresses). Many of these were provided by the now closed Montavan ceramics factory.

The museum also has kilns on display. I believe these kilns were each named after famous bullfighters. But, I can’t swear to that. The kilns are beautiful in their own right and some are 400 to 500 years old. A couple are quite large while others are smaller to hold shelving to accommodate numerous tiles for firing.

The museum has a number of interesting and lovely ceramic pieces on display, including several beautiful tiles which we recognized from seeing them at the Alcazar the day before.

We also enjoyed a multimedia presentation about Triana’s festivals, music, corrales, and people. We had not ventured across the river until that morning so it was nice to learn more about this proud neighborhood.

Our visit took just over an hour, including a look at a special exhibit by a ceramic artist. Stopping in the museum was well worth our time and gave us some insight into one of the products for which Sevilla is known.

Don’t skip a visit to the adjoining Ceramica Santa Ana store to see the gorgeous ceramics for sale or to the tile store across the street from the museum. Both are worth a stop if you want to acquire your own ceramics!

This ceramic shop is the respresentative of Triana, the ceramic and tile making town. They sell so many kinds of beautiful Islamic tiles. Not only tiles but tile-made items such as clock, vase, etc. You can spend hour or so just looking pretty tiles or thinking what to buy for souvenirs. The staff is kind enough to wrap tightly what you buy. The exterior of this shop is lovely enough that it's almost like a tourist spot. I uploaded the photo for reference.
