This lovely structure was originally built as a minaret for a mosque, although it has since been converted into a bell tower.

Giralda is the last thing I visited in Seville, I was expecting something so special after having visited the Alcazar and Plaza de espana but the Giralda was not at the same level, indeed you can enjoy a good view of the city but nothing...More

From the outside, the climb might look formidable but there are 34 ramps and it's easy to stop and look out. The only steps are at the last stage. Great view on a clear day.

The views from the top are spectacular, but be warned - it's 34 flights to the top. However, as these were not stairs it felt easier to climb. Once you get to the top however, it's worth the climb.

We visited the Giralda tower with our 2 kids (12 and 8). Easy climbing on ramps instead of stairs, more convenient and less efforts. Along the ramps you will find a well designed niches inside the wall displaying some of the tools and items used...More

This tower is freely accessible when you buy a ticket for the cathedral. However, it is a HUGE climb (via a spacious ramp), and this can be too much if you are not in good shape. The view is splendid though!

This is included within the cathedral entrance. It's easy up climb as there are slopes rather than steps. On the climb there are various viewing points but at the top there are fantastic views in all directions across the city. Well worth it.

It is a bit hard to walk up the tower, but it worth it. The view is just amazing, you can see the whole city. The only bad thing is, that it is quit expensive to go up the tower, because you must buy a...More
