Very impressive. Such a great building and gardens. Great to wander round and sit and take in the history, or have some well earned refreshments in the cafeteria.

Before you go please make sure you get there either early in the morning (when they open) or late in the afternoon cos it gets really busy before midday and also too hot to see the gardens. It is also worth to rent the audio...More

Always difficult to work out which important places you should see but this is right up there! We went with guide called George, just met him off the street, if you look around the guides or their staff will find you! My experience is these...More

First, get your tickets ahead of time as the ticket line moves slowly. Also, they sell out of the apartment visit tickets in advance, so if you want to see the apartment rooms, go online prior to your visit. I enjoyed wandering through the palace,...More

I visited about a year ago and I'm still amazed by this place. Make sure you look everywhere, even at the ceilings. The amount of detail that went into constructing this place is stunning and the fact that it was mostly been preserved all these...More

Do the Hop-On/Hop-Off bus to get your bearings. We visited the Alcazar + Cathedral + good walking around. Traveled with my son stayed at Hostel that was convenient to all places. I think you can thoroughly do this city with 2 full days. Buy ticket...More

Check in advance re queuing. It is very advisable to book a queuing slot. The palace is vast so allow time to wander around at a leisurely pace. Be sure to leave some time for the gardens.

we purchased student tickets at reduced price to visit at 9:30 Saturday June 1st and see that we need to go to ticket office to pick them up. Can we pick up those tickets on the day before we visit, or must we wait in ticket office line on the day of our visit. What time does ticket office open and close?

We booked 3 online combo tickets for Seville's Alcazar Real which includes GENERAL TOUR + CUARTO REAL ALTO last night through its official website. When the payment went through, it led us back to the main page. However, we neither received email confirmation for the tickets, nor the booking reference number. I tried their website phone number 902559386 many times, nobody answers. I also wrote email to the two email address the website provided, haven't heard from them. This official website is very poorly designed and English assistance is very limited. I am not sure what I can do now. Can anybody help? Many thanks!!!!!

You must have bought the tickets with your credit card. I would make sure and have a copy of the credit card showing the payment and go to the ticket office as early as possible. I have a feeling they will have your... More

We will be visiting Seville in three weeks. I am trying to determine if we should book a tour to see the Alcazar or if we would be fine going through ourselves. Regardless, I will be booking in advance. Also, is early morning the best time to visit?

We just went last week and you can definitely see the Real Alcazar without booking a tour. There are audio guides available for you to purchase. However, when we went, we bought the tour because it was last minute and we... More
