Overview
More
The Barrio Santa Cruz used to be the Jewish quarter. The streets are narrow and form a labyrinth. It’s easy to get lost among the jasmine-scented streets… only to discover a convent or a palace or a hotel. Many of the palaces have wrought iron gates suitable for peeping into their beautiful patios. There are many small stores and some artisan shops, as well as good art galleries.

Spend time walking through the labyrinth of this ancient neighborhood with modern shopkeepers. You will be amazed at the array of goods and ancient artifacts. We liked the challenge of finding our way, and when lost, there were more than enough friendly guides to show...More

The Barrio Santa Cruz is a wonderful area of Seville with winding narrow streets to get lost in. The shopping is magnificent later in the evening when some of the artisanal shops open for business.

AS everyone else says, ask for - or look up to find the spire of - the Cathedral. Where the lanes open out onto squares there are often black-and-gold signposts, too
