The Barrio Santa Cruz used to be the Jewish quarter. The streets are narrow and form a labyrinth. It’s easy to get lost among the jasmine-scented streets… only to discover a convent or a palace or a hotel. Many of the palaces have wrought iron gates suitable for peeping into their beautiful patios. There are many small stores and some artisan shops, as well as good art galleries.

Lovely and full of character, flanked as per usual by orange trees. Good for a stroll and sight seeing, and soaking up the lovely atmosphere that is Seville

Very interesting old neighborhood with a historically tragic background. Enchanting alleys, lots of local folklore, entertaining to the core.

This is the third largest Cathedral in the world and the largest Gothic cathedral. It is indeed beautiful and contains some great treasures, not the least of which is the final resting place of Christopher Columbus. Bet you didn't know that! Don't miss it.

The most authentic Spanish neighborhood you could imagine. Lots of typical tapas bars, crowds of people talking, laughing, drinking and eating and incredible views on the Cathedral. What can be better?

Just wander through Santa Cruz-you can't get lost because the winding alleyways will eventually lead you out. Santa Cruz ( the old Jewish Quarter) is pedestrianised so you are safe to wander. There are more tapas bars and restaurants than you will ever need. The...More

Nice barrio with small streets and no cars. A pity that iit has become too much of a tourist place. I am not sure how many people still live here. Most look like hotels, appartments for rent and shops or restaurants. Still recommend you go...More

Wonderful, relaxing adventure in the Barrio Santa Cruz. Lots of winding streets/alley ways to explore. The colors are wonderful as are the shops and restaurants. Just take some time to get lost in it all and see what you find.

AS everyone else says, ask for - or look up to find the spire of - the Cathedral. Where the lanes open out onto squares there are often black-and-gold signposts, too
